Grant and Mikel started recording "H.A.G.S." in the summer of 2012. It contains all the loves, fears, hates, needs, desires, dreams, complexities, roadblocks, highs, lows, murky middles, and discoveries that go along with being a person in the early 21st century. Or, at least, it attempts to capture it all. We're not quite sure where it lands.

Part celebratory synthpop, part contemplative instrumental hip-hop, "H.A.G.S." is ultimately about how friendship is the great equalizer in our fucked up, horrible world.

Tell them you love them. Hold their hand. Make eye contact. Summer is here, then it's gone. You'll wish you had.
